EXTRACTION AND SUPPLY FANS

The fans must be tested according to EN 12101-3.

They must therefore have a certificate issued by an independent test body (determined in the EN). Depending on the location, these must be F 200 (200 ° C resistant for 1 hour) or F300 (300 ° C resistant for 1 hour).

Great attention must be paid to the head of the fan as well as the extra reserve that becomes mandatory in the Belgian standard.

IMPULSE FANS

The impulse fans have the great advantage that they can be equipped with sound dampers so that they are also quiet in daily use and have a continuous horizontal air displacement.

The fans must be tested according to EN 12101-3.

The operating switches that are required must have the same temperature resistance.

INDUCTION FANS

The induction fans have the great advantage that they have a small height, so that in parking areas where the height is already limited, they do not constitute an additional obstacle.

The disadvantage of this type is the lack of silencers and the suction at the bottom.
